Hmmm.
Today me and my room mate went to look for apartments! We found two that we realllllly love on 4th street. They're 15 minutes from the school and 15 minutes from downtown Tampa, so we would get the best of both worlds. Both of them are two bedrooms, two baths, and have washer/dryers, stainless steel appliances and walk in closets. The one apartment is $100 more a month, but we both liked it more and it has a fireplace and has more square feet. However, the other one is still very nice and has a younger average age of residency, so we might fit in more there. This is a really huge decision, and I hope we make the right one!

That's awesome! I thought about getting an apartment with a friend or two for next year but we wanted to be in downtown St. Pete which is a little pricey so we decided against it. But wow the apartment with the fireplace sounds amazing, I'm so jealous! I think either decision you make will be a good one, because whatever situation I'm sure you'll make it work and make the best of it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool :] I wish I had the money to move out haha! You'll have to let me know where they are so I can tell you if I know anything good/bad about the place/area haha. They sound so very nice, especially the one with the fireplace, although it doesn't get very cold in Florida for a fireplace to be a necessity. At the same time, I see your dilemma in deciding if you should pick the place where you might fit in more. Good luck! :]
ReplyDeleteYeah, finding an apartment is really exciting. We looked downtown too, and they are pretty expensive. However, they are still cheaper than the dorms, which is pretty crazy. The one with the fireplace is soooo cute, so I'm really considering that one. We're going to keep looking though, because both are pretty expensive and I want to find a cute but cheap place. So are you staying in the dorms next year?

ReplyDeleteYeah it is super expensive to move out. I'm pretty spoiled and will have my parents helping me, until I can get situated with a job and everything. The ones we are looking at are wayyy down on 4th Street North and 116th Ave. They're like 15 minutes from here and Tampa. It looks like a nice neighborhood, but definitely let me know if its not! Ha, yeah and we don't NEED the fireplace, but it makes it look extra classy, which we like. But yeah, thanks...I definitely need the luck! This is a hard choice!
