Ventinggggggg
I am sooooo stressed out in this class. We have so much work to do and not enough time. It is very difficult to get all of it done. Its hard to get my whole board together to meet at the same time because we all have such different schedules. Also, everything takes longer in a group because we all have to agree on each portion, and my group hardly comes to a consensus on anything. We also have individual work that im frustrated about. I love how we wait until the last week to realize we havent commented on any blogs. Also, I have an additional 10 blogs to create to meet the requirements, on top of all our other individual group. I feel that the resume is pointless because I will never use it again. Also, the self reflections of everything are as well, because it does not help me as a student. I know my strengths and weaknesses and writing them down every couple months in this course is repetitive and annoying. Also, we are doing a lot of the same stuff in Morrins class so its just adding to repeating the same information numerous times. We have to grade our groups and reflect on the NOFO process, which we've already done in here. Overall im super agitated.

That was very intense! but I totally agree and feel so bad for your group about not comming to a census, but i agree when it comes to not being able to meet with our groups. My board has 4 people who live off campus and it is frustrating when only 5 people can show up. The individual projects are sooooo repetitive and it is very annoying I feel that i am constantly repeating myself for everyyything. I totally agree with your venting!
ReplyDeleteHa! I know it was intense! I was getting pretty stressed, and decided it might be a good coping mechanism! Ha. But having a group that doesn't always agree is very difficult! I'm glad that your group didn't have that problem! Luckily, we only have one person that lives off campus so we could just skype her or call her and put her on speaker. We still had the same problem as you though. Everyone would say they would come to the meeting and only 4 or 5 out of the 9 would show up. It is very frustrating!
